Recognizing that design science alone cannot establish a maturity model, our approach emphasizes the necessity for a robust methodology that is rigorously developed, empirically tested, and thoroughly documented.
At the heart of the doctoral thesis titled "Industry 4.0: Maturity Model for the Digitalized Interorganizational Value Chain," the DIOVC MM and AT aim to create and assess innovative artifacts that address real-world challenges in the field.
Our research team comprises esteemed members from both the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Antwerp and the Department of Business Informatics and Operations Management at Ghent University, Belgium. Together, we are committed to advancing knowledge and providing practical solutions for organizations navigating the complexities of digitalization.
